PAWrtal ("we," "our," or "us") is a pet tracking application designed to help users monitor their pets' safety through real-time location data and geofencing. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
Personal Identification Information: During registration, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number. Phone numbers are verified via OTP to secure your account.
Pet Information: We collect data about your pets, including names and profile photos.
Precise Location Data:
User Location: We access your device's precise location for proximity alerts and city detection.
Pet Location: We collect real-time coordinates from your LilyGo T-SIM7000G tracker.
Device and Technical Data: We collect FCM tokens for critical alerts (geofence breaches, low battery, weather).
Bluetooth Data: We use Bluetooth (Scan, Connect, Advertise) to communicate directly with your tracker hardware.
3. How We Use Your Information
To facilitate pet tracking and geofencing services.
To send push notifications for "Missing Pet" or "Shelter Mode" alerts.
To process payments via Paymongo.
To personalize your experience with pet profiles.
4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell your data. We share information with:
Google Firebase: For authentication, storage, and notifications.
Google Maps: For map rendering and geocoding.
Paymongo: For financial transactions.
Hardware Partners: Location data transmission from LilyGo devices.
5. Data Retention and Security
Location History: Stored for a user-defined period (e.g., 3 days). We utilize Firebase App Check and Play Integrity for security.
6. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Users have the right to access, update, or delete their personal information. You may delete your account and associated data directly through the app settings, which will remove your profile and pet data from our Firebase database.
Users may also request the deletion of specific data points (such as pet profiles or location history) without deleting their entire account by contacting us or using our data request form.
7. Request Data Deletion (Web Access)
Per Google Play policies, if you wish to permanently delete your account or specific data points (such as location history or pet profiles) without reinstalling the app, please complete our formal request form below. This action is irreversible.
Note: Once submitted, your account and data will be manually removed from our Firebase servers within 7 business days.
